Planning a friends trip to Brighton

One thing that has got me through lockdown is planning visit to place with a friend i was lucky enough to make through the lockdown period. Teya Nicole Travels and I have been making a lot of different travel plans. We have planned and completed a trip to London just for a day trip. we have planned a late summer weekend trip away to Brighton. I thought I would share how we have been planning our trips.

Firstly I would stay is good to share similar interests in traveling to new places. Some people when they have a break away just want a nice place to stay and to relax by a pool. Some want to see new places and adventures. Some are foodies that want to try all the new restaurants.

We used FaceTime to our advantage in the lockdown to discuss places we might like to go. We also texted each other ideas as we saw them. We started following a few people that had already been to Brighton to give us inspiration where to go. Looking of # linked to Brighton.

We first looked at booking an apartment for 2 nights to share but then due to COVID 19 this was difficult ( this can be a real cost saving option when travelling with a group of people ) therefore we looked at hotels and b&b’s. As with most places it was more expensive to stay within the city 🌃 Therefore we agreed that I would be best to stay on the outside and travel in as this actually works out cheaper even with taxis on some evenings.

We planned food first ( of course as it one of the most import things). We booked arranged different places for breakfast and dinner. This left us room to explore the little independent cafes for lunches. Then this allowed us to explore different things depending on were we needed to be close too for food.

We also planned for two activites on two different days we was there. This was paddle boarding and glow in the dark mini golf. One we struggled to do because of the weather but ended up going go karting instead which was really fun.

Our Weekend plan: Day 1

  1. Breakfast when we arrived in Brighton at The Breakfast Club

  2. Exploring

  3. We was going to go paddle boarding but the weather was too windy so had a little dip in the sea

  4. Explore more - Ended up finding the upside down house

  5. Dinner at The New Club

Day 2

  1. Breakfast at Bills

  2. Mini golf at Globalls

  3. Dinner at JB’S diner

  4. Drinks at The Tempest Inn

Day 3

  1. Breakfast at Ohso Social

  2. Explore

  3. Go karting

  4. Roast in oxford on the way home

We had an amazing experience and trip exploring Brighton. ❤️

I really recommend as we go in to lockdown 2.0 planning a fun trip post lockdown with a friend even if its not till 2021. It gives you a since this will be over one day. 😊
